Happy Easter!

Here are the pictures of the kids all dressed up for Easter Services this morning. I know they are going to hate me for dressing them in coordinating outfits someday, but I'm going to keep doing it as long as I can get away with it. It won't be long before they have an opinion about what they wear!

A hunting we will go...

We went to our church Easter Egg hunt on Saturday. They held it at a different location this year and the change was nice. I was in charge of counting how many children in the 2 and under age group there were. It was almost impossible to count - but I got around 120 kids. There were 5 different age groups so you can imagine how many kids were there!!
Camden didn't like the Easter Bunny any more this year than she did last year. She was still scared of him!
Kade, on the other hand, thought the Easter Bunny was great!
Mema came in for the hunt and got to spend some quality time with Camden and Kade. And I was thankful for the help.
Camden was so excited to start picking up the eggs.
It takes a lot of patience for a 2-year old to wait for the signal to go.
Kade was loving every minute of it!
Finally it was time to go gather the eggs. Camden did good! She picked them up as quickly as she could!
HAPPY EASTER!

Waterpark

Last weekend we went up to Bridges Bay Resort and waterpark in Okoboji to help Grandma B celebrate her birthday. Camden was so excited to go swimming and she was not disappointed! She and Daddy spent a lot of time playing in the water together.
She was a little cautious at first. But it didn't take long before she wanted to jump off the sides to Derek. She would even go underwater and it didn't bother her a bit! She loved it!

The slide wasn't her favorite, but she did do it a few times.
Camden ran through the waterfalls...

...and played in the geysers

She rode the whale.

Uncle Beek helped her dunk it.
Kade spent quite a bit of time in the water too. It took him a while before he really enjoyed it. But by the end, he was perfectly content sitting in his baby tube floating the lazy river. (Of course I didn't get a picture of that!)

By the end of the weekend, we had two tired children!
Happy Birthday Grandma B. Thanks for the fun weekend!

7 month pictures

I know I'm really late posting 7-month pictures but it isn't because I didn't try. Blogger has been acting up for me and won't let me attach more than one picture at a time. So here are the long overdue pictures of Kade at 7 months. 7 months!! Can you believe it?!?

Kade sits up very well on his own now. And if he can't be standing (with help) then his preference is to sit so he can see all of the excitement going on around our house.
He scoots and spins while on his belly. He can get to almost anything he wants on the floor.
And if he can't get to what he wants, he gets mad! He is definetely getting a bit of a temper.
He still loves to eat more than anything else. He gets mad if we eat in front of him. And if he is sitting in his high chair he wants a steady stream of baby food coming towards his mouth.
My baby is growing up too quickly.
He'll be crawling before we know it!

2 1/2 and 6 month pictures

One of the benefits of Camden and Kade's birthdays only being 15 days apart is that we can wrap their pictures into one session--therefore only paying one sitting fee! Love that! We had Camden's 2 1/2 year and Kade's 6 month pictures taken a few weeks ago. Neither child cooperated, but we got some pretty good ones despite it.

Cabin Fever

Cabin Fever had fully set in for us. We needed to get outside and get some fresh air. We had a near 50 degree day so we bundled the kids up and went to the ZOO!

Most of the animals were still out so we got to see lots of things. It was just enough for an afternoon of fun.
Cam loved the llama!
We found this lion that was asleep in the sun. Camden thought she was pretty funny.
Camden rode around on Mommy's shoulders for part of the visit...
...and Daddy's shoulders for part of the visit.
Kade just sat in th stroller and took it all in. He wasn't sure what to think of everything.
Smile :)
Kade was worn out after an afternoon at the zoo.
