Last weekend we went to Winona, Minnesota to visit one of Derek's friends from college. While we were there we went to the National Eagle Museum. It was a very neat museum! Camden loved seeing the bald eagles so close...until they flapped their wings! And then she didn't want to be anywhere near them!
Here's a picture of the family on a bluff overlooking the city of Winona. It is a beautiful river town!
Camden got an upclose look at the bald eagles at the museum. This eagle's name is Harriett and her picture is on the Minnesota state license plates.
They had an observation deck where you could look for eagles flying over the river. Derek and I spotted a few flying high above. Camden liked looking, but didn't know what she was looking for :)
On our way back we stopped at Lark Toys which is a toy museum/toy store. They had a carousel that the whole family rode. Camden wasn't sure what to think of it at first. But by the end of the ride, she didn't want to get off.
