Christmas at Grandma Bs House

Camden got to celebrate her first Christmas celebration of the season at Grandma Bs house. We were up there for four days and Camden got spoiled the entire time. She got way too many presents and got to spend plenty of time with the family.

Derek helped Camden sprinkle Reindeer food in the snow on Christmas Eve so that Santa's reindeer could find their way to Grandma's house. Santa did come and brought her some new pajamas.
Camden had fun playing with her new shopping cart that Grandma B and Bruce bought for her.

Camden even got to help Grandma decorate Christmas cookies. I think she ate more frosting and sprinkles than she put on the cookies.

Christmas time

We finally got a chance to decorate the Christmas tree this weekend with the help of Uncle Blair and Aunt Tarryn. Derek and Blair sturng the lights on the tree...

...while Aunt Tarryn showed Camden other uses for Christmas ornaments -- earrings! Camden thought she would try it out too!

And finally we got Camden to pose for one picture in the Santa hat. We found a picture of Camden taken almost exactly one year ago in the same pose. It's fun to see how much she has changed in the past year!

Tree Time!

We took advantage of the 52 degree day today and went to the Christmas Tree farm to find the our tree. Camden had a blast walking around all 14 acres of trees to find the perfect tree. After inspecting several carefully, we decided on just the right tree. Daddy cut it down and we brought it home and set it up.

Here's a picture of Camden showing off her shirt that her Great Aunt Darcy bought for her. It says 'Little Turkey' on it - and that is the truth! Thank you Darcy for the shirt :)

Camden helped Daddy cheer on the Hawkeyes to a victory last night.

Say Cheese!

Getting a good picture of Camden is becoming harder and harder! Whenever we get the camera out to take her picture, she gives us this cheesy smile! It's definetely not her most flattering pose, but it was worth posting anyway.

Camden loves to be read to. Her favorite place to sit while being read to is on Mommy and Daddy's tummies :) And you can see how jealous Sunny is that she is not the center of attention. Of course she manages to sneak into the pictures.

A Busy Week...

We met Grandma and Bruce in Omaha last weekend and Camden got to go swimming. Despite the cold water, she still had a good time.

Camden also went trick-or-treating last week and got to wear the peacock costume again. Daddy took her trick-or-treating to the neighbors houses and then brought her home to help hand out candy.

My Little Peacock

Halloween is almost here and it's time to get Camden's Halloween costume ready to go. This year Camden is going to dress as a peacock! I saw the costume and I just couldn't resist! Camden really loves having the costume on...but Sunny isn't sure why she is dressed like that!

Camden is Being Silly!

Hello? Camden loves to talk on Mommy and Daddy's cell phones.

This is Daddy's proudest moment yet...Camden learned how to dunk a basketball!

Where's your belly button?

Camden is trying to put on Daddy's shoes.

It's never to early to start potty training...

Camden got her first potty chair and is getting used to the big girl potty. While it's too early to start potty training officially, it's not to early to get her used to it!

At the Pumpkin Patch

We took Camden back to the same pumpkin patch that we took her to last year. She had a great time. She got to walk through the lawn and pick out her very own pumpkin. She also got to go for a wagon ride and play in a 'sand box' full of corn kernels!
Camden was trying to find the perfect pumpkin!

There are so many pumpkins to choose from! How can she decide!

Riding in the wagon!

Camden's Birthday Party

Camden celebrated her first birthday! She had a big party with lots of friends and family. She ate cake and opened presents. By the end of the day she was exhausted!
